The following is in response to your questions. Also, I am wondering if my installation of the latest version of the Telerik tool actually worked correctly.
I basically have 2 versions of the Telerik tool installed on my workstation. I did not get any error messages from the installation but the files in the BIN directory listed in vs_solutionexplorer.png file did not indicate that there was any changes to them by version called TFS (Team Server foundation).
I ran the installed MSI package from a download file the administrator of my company obtained for me. The administrator called the download file: TelerikTools\RAD CONTROLS FOR ASP.NET AJAX\Version 2015.1.225.1
The files were installed on my workstation are in the file called vs_solutionexplorer.pngThe files called vs_solutionexplorer.png and Telerik_updateMessage.png show the version of the Telerik tool I am using and a copy of the information download message I am getting.
In the file called controlpanel_teleriksinstalled.png, you can see a copy of my control panel.
Thus can do tell me what I can do so that the most version of the Telerik tool is being used on my workstation?
You also mentioned the references are changed when the new Telerik tool is installed. Would these references be in the BIN directory and marked by version control indicating that a change was made?
